Is the Nikon 70-300mm AF G lens good for everyday use?

A Nikon 70-300mm lens is great for outdoor everyday use. Travel, sports, or other telephoto use cases are perfect for this lens. It is not useful for indoor photography. If you're using this lens mostly indoors, your subjects will need to be about 10 feet away to be in focus.
